We have started a NEW online service for the upcoming year.  The details are below.  All existing members should have received an email.  If you did not or are a new member, please complete the form to the right on this page

Things to know about online membership:  
This membership is similar to the form we used to mail to each of you.  By doing it this way, we save lots of volunteer time by eliminating at least 6 steps to this process (not to mention saving a couple trees): the cost of printing the form, stuffing the envelopes, sticking 160 stamps and then sending it out by mail, members filling in out by hand, members sending it back by mail, and one ORPP volunteer data entering all the information. 
 
> Only one member of the household should register.  This will prevent double entry into the database.  Unlike year's past we would like to have both parents contact information including e-mail and other phone numbers, if applicable.  This will help keep both parents informed of activities.  Another new addition is the emergency contact.  We hope it is never needed but better to be on the safe side!
 
> Only members can view this information.  Only your contact information is viewable and that is only viewable to other members.  Similar to the membership directory, this information is ONLY accessible to current members who have registered online.  The more detailed information (bio's, available times, interests, etc.) is maintained in a database that is used by the Director and Board.  This info helps us with planning events.  The other items, as noted, will be used in the newsletter (birthdays and family bios.)
 
> Monthly mailings will continue.  Although membership renewal is online we are not planning to eliminate the monthly mailings with the newsletter, calendar and family fun list.
 
> Parent birthdays are optional.  We would like to list parent and child birthdays in the newsletter.  WE WILL NOT USE THE YEAR--I PROMISE!!!  We just thought it would be fun to get an update each month of parent and child birthdays.  You need not include yours but we would like to include as many as we can.
 
> Family Bio is optional.  We thought it would be fun to have a little bio of each family to include in the newsletters throughout the year.  Anything you would like to share about your family would be great.  It would only be put in the newsletter and not online or anywhere else.  Make it fun, make it serious, do whatever you want!
 
> Photo opt-out.  If you do not want photos of your family in any ORPP publications, please select the opt-out check box.  These photos are used for ORPP member materials only and no names are published.
